A few people have had problems connecting to the Lazery Attack CCTF ports. The problem would appear to be a left over .pk3 file from the beta version of CCTF 1.7.
If you are having problems connecting have a look in your quake3/threewave folder for a file called z_pak05_BETA.pk3 and delete it. This should fix your problems.
If it doesn't please post here so I can do some investigation to find out, and fix, any other problems.

It would seem some of these BETA files are installed as hidden files. If you can't see any beta files and still cannot connect make sure that you are able to view hidden files and check again.
All you should have in your threewave directory in the way of pak files are:
pak00.pk3
pak01.pk3
pak02.pk3
pak03.pk3
pak04.pk3
pak05.pk3
CPMAskins.pk3
fanconfigs.pk3
radio.pk3
If you have any other files in your threewave dir try copying them to a temporary directory and then reconnecting. If it works when they aren't there but not when they are that's your problem.
If you come accorss any problems that aren't covered here please post and let me know so that I can look into them.

one more solution available for problems connecting to Lazery Attack servers (This one thanks to Nekon). If you repack all of your custom maps in baseq3 it seems to fix problems for people who are logging on and getting disconnected and only have an unscripted map error in thier condump (or scrolling back through console to see what the problem is).
The unscripted map error is not an issue but it seems like it is the problem as it is the only error that you see in your console, I think (but this is a bit of a wild guess) that the error is related to the shaders used in some custom maps and the shaders used in the threewave maps. My best guess is that some people have used shaders with the same name as the shaders in the threewave files and when sv_pure is on Q3 is getting its knickers in a twist and booting you because it thinks that you are not pure. There are two ways to get round this problem:
1: Reinstall (Not the best option in almost all cases)
2: Repack your maps.
I am assuming that virtually everybody will not want to reinstall and choose option 2. There is a repacking utility available as a tool with the DeFRag 1.9 mod which I have mirrored here (Just the repacking utility, not the whole defrag mod) so you can easily get hold of it. It weighs in at 138k.

Simply download this file, load it up, use the user freindly GUI to repack your maps files and away you go. It can take quite a while to complete so best thing to do is leave it repacking while you go brew a cuppa but it seems to do the job.
If you get any problems that you cannot fix by using the above solutions please let me know and I will do what i can to help you out.
